Renewable energy is often intermittent and unreliable, but with the right storage technology, it can become a substitute for baseline power. As funds flow into solar and wind power, and governments around the world make progressively more optimistic commitments to the percentage of national power they will generate from alternative renewable energy, energy storage remains the key to success. Former barriers to the advancement of energy storage technology have dissolved and significant headway has been made. Georgia Solar Energy Association is pleased to present a panel of experts on the advancements in battery and nanotechnology sciences that are making real solar growth a reality.
