Video 6: We have many misconceptions, many schools and different methods to get "there". However, there is only one Yoga and one meditation, which are themselves indivisible. It is worth us checking what our assumptions are when we try to meditate so we can free up more space for the experience of total oneness.
Video 7: Here, we get a chance to briefly examine why meditation is so powerful and widely used these days. The aim of this video is to remind ourselves of the real value of this millenary practice and see how it directly impacts our health and ultimately improves our overall quality of life.
Video 8: Vishnu Devananda from the Sivananda school, shared a very simple set of points that became an easy to digest path to meditation. Within this video I have shared these points, to make sure that your experience as a meditator is full of motivation and perseverance.
Video 9: This is a very effective exercise that is usually practiced after any method of breath control of your choice and just before your meditation. I have found it particularly useful, as it visits the whole body and sends clear signals to our brain, helping us to a reach deeper levels of concentration.
Video 10: This video is an example of how we can use something as simple as walking to be more mindful within our everyday lives. Although it is only preliminary to meditation, this simple guided walking exercise can help you to improve your ability to become more present.
Video 11: Meditation can take many forms and shapes, however, when practiced without any preliminary preparation it can lead us to frustration. To avoid this, many eastern philosophies and schools have used this technique to help learners train their mind to be still. Make the most of it!
